A Programme Designed for Women’s Oral and General Health Awareness.
Mega Oral Health Camp Done on the occasion of International Women’s Days 2024 and National Dentist’s Day 2024.
7 camps were conducted in Banswara, Rajasthan from 5th to 11th March 2024.
This camps were done by Dr. Misba Kadri under the guidance of Dr. Anmol Bagaria and Dr. Ashish Chandra Fellow of ICD Section VI (Central Zone).
This special mega program on women’s day was organised to honour First Women President of ICD Section VI Respected Dr. Meera Verma. Special thanks to the Dr. Y. K. Virmani Secretary General of ICD Section VI and Dr. D.N. Kapoor Central Zone Regent for his constant support.

Location:- Government Girls Higher Primary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.
🔹Day 3:- 84 Females Benefited.

🔸Day 4:- 153 Females Benefited.

🔹Day 5:- 45 Females Benefited.

🔸Day 6:- 72 Females Benefited.
Location:- Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.
🔹Day 7:- 160 Females Benefited.
Location:- Aman Sansthan Muslim Community Centre, Banswara, Rajasthan.
Benefited Total Around 667 Females.

Women’s Day Celebrations, Jabalpur,ICD Section VI Central Zone
Indian Dental Association Jabalpur Branch and ICD Section VI organised “SHEORES” an event for lady dental surgeons on 10th March 2023 at Hotel Shiddali Inn, Jabalpur. This unique event was a mix of Scientific Lectures & Fitness/ Health Excercises. The agenda included:
1. Zumba training
2. Talk on Mental Fitness
3. Scientific Lectures on common problems and troubleshooting in endodontics, Prosthodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry
4. Interactive Session with games and discussions.
The role of the organizing committee and IDA Jabalpur Branch office in making this event a success is praiseworthy.
Celebration of Womens Day, Jharkhand.
Celebration of Women’s Day by International College of Dentist’s Section 6 East Zone
in association with Hazaribagh College of Dental Science Jharkhand.
Tooth brush and toothpaste were distributed and Free dental check-ups were done for accompanying lady guardians and ladies from Surrounding villages.
They were educated about the importance of Oral hygiene maintenance.
The Principal Prof Dr Sri Krishna, Vice Principal Prof Dr Ankur Srivastav & Dr Pravin Shrinivas Secretary HCDS extended their Support towards the event.
This event was carried out by Prof Dr Anshu Sahu Deputy Reagent East Zone & Prof Dr Saurav Purbay under the Guidance of Prof Dr Rajeev Lall
8th March women health for young school going girls, Jaipur
ICD Section VI , North zone organied a dental camp and health talk on women health for young school going girls in jaipur on 8th March on occasion of women’s day at Kids Club Senior Secondary School. Over 170 students participated. The camp was led by ICD Fellow Dr Anjali Dave Tiwari. Dr Alankrita & Dr Mansi accompanied and gave the talk on women health. Dr Archit Tiwari arranged and organised the camp
Charity project for the destitute women ICD Central zone
Charity project for the destitute women ICD Central zone was done on 8th March and needful things were distributed. The program was led by President Elect Dr V S Kohli
Women’s day 8th March 2024 , ICD Section VI Eastern Zone
On the eve of Women’s day on 8th March 2024 , ICD Section VI Eastern Zone organized a health camp for Women only…Fellow Dr. Shubham organized the camp…where she talked about oral health and general health….She distributed sanitary pads , medicines and fruits. A very well organized camp…where more than 200 women were benefited.
Mega Dental Health camp in the slums of Patna on 03 March 2024
ICD Section VI.Eastern Zone organized a mega Dental Health camp in the slums of Patna on 03 March 2024
More than 100 children were examined… Zonal Regent Dr.Amit Ram organized the camp along with Fellow Dr.Subham Kumari, Dr Rishu Raj, Dr Diksha. IPP Dr.Rajeev Lall was also present during the camp.
Tooth brushes, tooth pastes and medicines were distributed among the patients.
The health camp was a major success.

-Conducted  by Dr.N Kannan  and Dr.Embeti Srikanth. Fellows of Interbational College of Dentists India Sri Lanka Nepal branch under its banner.
100 women belongs to different communities backgrounds and 40 college Girls participated in women’s day celebrations at Indian Medical Association Hall -Nellore,Andhra Pradesh participated in the celebrations.
The agenda of International Women’s Day celebrations is as follows:
-To bring awareness among the illiterate & daily working women in the society about the Oral health.
-To unite people to fight for girl child
-To spread awareness among people to control the disease spread
-To promote safe &healthy behaviour among the people
-To avoid discrimination among the diseased
-To disseminate accurate &right information.
ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED :
Distributed Oral Health Kit for women and Girls.
They were also â„ą given Oral hygiene instructions Pamphlets for Oral Hygiene Training.
