    World Oral Health Day, at Justice For Children Street School Nishulk Shiksha Kendra, Panna Pokhar, Mathura on 14 April 2025

    Continuing with events being celebrated by K D Dental College & Hospital  for a month long campaign of “World Oral Health Day “, Department of Public Health Dentistry in collaboration with International College of Dentists(ICD)  India/Sri Lanka/Nepal section VI organized a dental awareness camp at Justice For Children Street School Nishulk Shiksha Kendra, Panna Pokhar, Mathura on 14 April 2025 in which oral health education  and tooth brushing method demonstration was carried out along with distribution of oral hygiene kits and refreshments for 150 children.

    World Oral Health Day, 16th April 2025

    Another important activity was conducted in a month long campaign of “World Oral Health Day” by K D Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with International College of Dentists (ICD) India/Sri Lanka/Nepal section VI at District Jail, Mathura in which distribution of oral hygiene kits was carried out for 300 jail inmates along with 100 jail officials. Oral hygiene maintenance instructions were also given to all the inmates in this event.

    CDE on “Digital Dentistry for Dental Students: Essential Knowledge and Skills

    K D. Dental College and Hospital, Mathura in association with International College of Dentists, conducted a CDE on 4th April 2025 on the topic Digital Dentistry for Dental Students: Essential Knowledge and Skills. Speaker for the program was Dr. Jatin Agarwal, MDS Prosthodontics Director at SmyleXL Dental Care Center, Indore (MP).

    He elaborated on the clinical use of intra oral scanners for data acquisition and drastic reduction in treatment duration, ultimately enhancing the patient’s overall experience when compared to analog dentistry

    Use of 3D imaging has revolutionised diagnosis and treatment planning in implant dentistry.

    He also emphasised the role of Computer aided designing software, which is immensely helpful in planning digital smile.

    Women’s Health Programme, Banswara, Rajasthan 5th to 11th March 2024

    Women’s Health Programme
    A Programme Designed for Women’s Oral and General Health Awareness.

    Mega Oral Health Camp Done on the occasion of International Women’s Days 2024 and National Dentist’s Day 2024.

    7 camps were conducted in Banswara, Rajasthan from 5th to 11th March 2024.

    This camps were done by Dr. Misba Kadri under the guidance of Dr. Anmol Bagaria and Dr. Ashish Chandra Fellow of ICD Section VI (Central Zone).

    This special mega program on women’s day was organised to honour First Women President of ICD Section VI Respected Dr. Meera Verma. Special thanks to the Dr. Y. K. Virmani Secretary General of ICD Section VI and Dr. D.N. Kapoor Central Zone Regent for his constant support.

    🔹Day 1:- 97 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Shining Future Public School, Indira Colony, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔸Day 2:- 56 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Government Girls Higher Primary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔹Day 3:- 84 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔸Day 4:- 153 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Government Higher Secondary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔹Day 5:- 45 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Shining Future Public School, Indira Colony, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔸Day 6:- 72 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Prithviganj, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    🔹Day 7:- 160 Females Benefited.
    Location:- Aman Sansthan Muslim Community Centre, Banswara, Rajasthan.

    Benefited Total Around 667 Females.

    With the Blessings of God Well organised Mega Oral Health Camp Series was a Great Success.

    Women’s Day Celebrations, Jabalpur,ICD Section VI Central Zone

    Indian Dental Association Jabalpur Branch and ICD Section VI organised “SHEORES” an event for lady dental surgeons on 10th March 2023 at Hotel Shiddali Inn, Jabalpur. This unique event was a mix of Scientific Lectures & Fitness/ Health Excercises. The agenda included:

    1. Zumba training

    2. Talk on Mental Fitness

    3. Scientific Lectures on common problems and troubleshooting in endodontics, Prosthodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry

    4. Interactive Session with games and discussions.

    The role of the organizing committee and IDA Jabalpur Branch office in making this event a success is praiseworthy.
